I am a huge fan of TestMagic Vocab, just that this test was not the best because even though versatile was the closest word, and I had gotten it right, it was still a confusing question.
You make a good point; I have the same reservations.
I should point out that sometimes students think they have to choose the 'correct' answer, whereas on the SAT, you have to choose the 'best' or closest answer.
Multifaceted is closest in meaning to VERSATILE.

Yeah, sometimes it is not always a direct synonym and just slightly relates, but is more of a synonym than the other options.
