EXORBITANT most nearly means extremely expensive.

MULTIFARIOUSNESS most nearly means diversity.

Here is an example sentence I have thought of:

"Luxury" brands that don't actually provide high quality such as Dior and Chrome Hearts rely solely on hype to justify their exorbitant prices.

Good one!

I might swap out 'justify their' with 'command', personally.

I didn't know Dior was low-quality, tbh. And never heard of Chrome Hearts.

Yea, Dior, alike other luxury brands, once bought and turned a subsidiary to LVMH, lose all their reputation for being high quality. I could talk on this topic concerning actual quality and creativity put into many of the "designer" brands, but basically LVMH forces the brand to pump out way more product, lower quality and creativity, and raise profit margins.

I've heard a bit about this, including some of those viral videos about how luxury brands work.

It's all about the influencers; we're living in a time when a 20 second video alter a person's mindset.
